Listen to this articleI write these as valid reasons to refuse the vaccine. But a reason exists that is not valid. That is, it’s not a valid reason to refuse the vaccine, if you just want to ‘stand up to the tyranny’ or ‘prove you’re a man’ or just because you’re a contrarian and want to defy authorities. No, this is a matter of faith and trust in our God, not ourselves. I write this with fear and trembling; I do not say these things lightly. We have come to a crossroads and must make a choice. In this article I state what I have chosen by the grace of God. I ask you to consider these words carefully.
As I write this in late April of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escalate in the United States and throughout the world. The financial fallout has just started with the stay-at-home orders, forcing businesses to close and layoff workers. I’m adjusting to full-time work from home and we’ve been told that we could be in for a long time and that, even once this crisis is over, we may never go back to normal. That’s because various institutions are predicting reinfection and multiple waves of novel coronaviruses.[1]
The only long-term solution being offered is either the natural immunity gained after recovering from the virus, from a treatment, or a vaccine to artificially induce immunity. On one level, it makes sense to use medical technology to prevent disease. But vaccine science and technology has changed radically in the last fifty years.[2] It has progressed to the point that life is now thought to be engineerable.[3] We are led to think that our medical systems are now so powerful as to be commensurate with God and his power.
Some may say that, even though I disagree with forced vaccination and believe that it may do harm, I should still go ahead and take it because I would otherwise not be able to provide for my family; and, I would otherwise not be able to be with my family. They need me, so I should sacrifice my own principles to be able to provide for and be with my family; and, so that I can continue to bless others.
Others say, “What’s the big deal — just take the shot already!”
I count at least four good reasons not to take the vaccine. But only the fourth and final reason is truly a ‘bridge too far.’ The first three reasons are good enough to justify refusal, but if I’m right, only the fourth makes it absolutely untouchable, unthinkable.
I will let you decide to what threat level the COVID-19 vaccine rises (or descends).
Here are the four reasons, in ascending order of severity:
Reason number 1: The vaccine may poison me and cause me injury or even death.
Most people have never heard of the vaccine injury court[4] or the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)[5], or the fact that the vaccine court has paid out over 4.3 BILLION dollars in damages for vaccine injuries since 1989[6]. And that those injuries that are reported only account for approximately one percent of all vaccine injuries. If true (or anywhere near true) the amount of damages should be closer to 425 BILLION.[7] Or the fact that vaccine manufacturers cannot be held liable for vaccine injuries – a deal made with the US Congress called the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986[8].
Vaccines are nasty concoctions. For example, here’s a list of known ingredients in the Rotavirus vaccine from GlaxoSmithKline, from the manufacturer’s package insert.[9]

Now, would you willingly inject yourself with these chemical compounds and biologics? Do you know what their effects would be? Would you blame me if I didn’t want to be injected? Yet if it’s mandated under threat of losing precious freedoms like travel, association, speech, work, etc, I may still take the shot. My freedom to do those things is extremely valuable, so I just may take the risk of being poisoned to keep those freedoms.
For example, it’s likely that a ‘vaccine passport’ or ‘immunity certification’ to travel or work, is in the pipeline and something similar will likely be passed, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.[11]
But there are more good reasons to consider. On to reason number 2.
Reason number 2: The vaccine may be mandated, revealing medical tyranny.
In the United States, the Federal Government (here in April 2020) has not yet mandated any vaccine. But the CDC recommends an extensive vaccine schedule. And although there are waivers, most states still require children to be fully vaccinated to attend public schools. Some states are more restrictive than others and do not allow any waivers other than for medical reasons. But that may be about to change.
With the outbreak of COVID-19, it appears that the federal government may mandate (or the states may mandate) a COVID-19 vaccine (or make it mandatory as a condition to travel, associate, work etc). If that’s the case, we will be entering unprecedented territory.
The promise of the vaccine has been elevated and promoted to the degree that it will become the ONLY solution. It will be promoted and likely mandated using the appeal that, unless you’re vaccinated, you pose as a walking, virus-carrying ‘loose cannon,’ a ‘bull-in-a-china-shop,’ in effect, a terrorist, an uncaring menace to otherwise healthy, unsuspecting, and vulnerable people.
So the vaccine may be mandated; it may be poisonous. But should we get the shot? At this point, I have to say, if it meant losing my freedom and my ability to care for my family (not to speak of the pariah I would become if I refuse), I may still get the shot. But I would certainly not volunteer and would resist as long as I could, yet in the end, if it were ONLY the fact that it may poison me and I may otherwise lose freedoms, I may acquiesce anyway. But the COVID-19 vaccine risks, I’m afraid, will not stop there.
Reason number 3: The vaccine may alter my personality, my character or my ability to function as a normal human being.
[I may also refuse the vaccine for this reason too. This vaccine may be the ‘thin edge of the wedge’ in the transhumanist agenda. That agenda is ultimately to be presented to us as our counterfeit salvation.]
This reason is related to reason number one, but is slightly different. Reason number one anticipates the effects of a poisoning. Poisoning may randomly induce a broad range of impairments: to speech, movement (paralysis), brain damage, liver damage, fertility, etc. But this reason – number three – anticipates a specifically-designed impairment (or enhancement). Vaccines may induce a designed deadening, a dumbing-down, or just the opposite: the emergence of a super-soldier or psychopathic trait. Obviously, this is a more sinister, purposeful design.
You may think this is pure fantasy; I would simply point you to Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, written in the year 1932. To imagine such vaccines/biologics are not possible or could not now be produced, is naïve at best or a deep deception at worst.[12]
In this scenario, a mandated vaccine that may make me into an obedient slave would be absolutely abhorrent to me and I would resist it with everything I had. But in the end, I may relent only if my wife or children or my own life would be threatened. It’s obviously impossible to imagine the actual scenario, but it is prudent to count the cost and prepare ourselves and our loved ones as best we can.
Reason number 4: The vaccine may be designed to inspire fear, existential hope and/or worship – the vaccine becomes an idol.[13]
In this scenario – to me the worst-case scenario – the vaccine acts as a near-pure symbol of an authoritarian medical system/regime. No one likes vaccines; they are demeaning, intimidating, menacing; they subdue by force of their propagandistic image. The vaccine is an idol, symbolizing in its syringe the promise of an exclusive salvation. It threatens us so that, if we don’t accept it, we may get sick and die. It intimidates us, demands that we allow it to inject its unknown chemicals, its poison. How it acts, we don’t really know, but we must trust its mysterious potions. Surely the billions of dollars and the entire, impressive medical apparatus cannot be wrong or evil.
The cult of the vaccine, complete with its scientific priest class huddle in their laboratories and develop their potions in secret. Around this cult are the administrators, the doctors, practitioners, nurses, etc, who administer and praise the vaccine and its wonders. They never speak of the injuries or deaths that it causes. It is declared to be ‘safe and effective’ and so it must unequivocally be true.It must be protected it at all costs.[14]
Then there are the masses who blindly worship the vaccine, who implicitly trust its priest class, who line up to receive its salvation. No one dares speak against it. They know that, even if they have doubts or worries, they will not speak ill of the vaccine or question its ministers.
The vaccine becomes the pivot point, the dividing line; it is elevated to near-miracle status. All efforts until it’s ready for the masses are only crude mitigations and half-measures. But then as time progresses, the breathless expectation, the demand, grows more intense for the vaccine. It becomes all the world’s focal point, its very salvation. Life is in the vaccine; death is in its absence. It takes on such an elevated status that people swindle, steal, lie, cheat, even kill for the vaccine.[15]
It defines the new normal – what is and is not normal, that is, the fundamental building blocks of life:
- where and how far you can go
- who you can be with
- how many you may gather with[16]
- what is essential and what is not
- whether you can work or not
- what you can buy or sell
The medical officials presume full control over the material world; everything must stop or go at their word. Their statistical models dictate and drive the entire pandemic response.
You may think I’m overstating the problem. Why then has most of the world gone into voluntary quarantine? Why has the world, without question, without discussion, swallowed whole the only narrative that is allowed to circulate?[17] Why has it now become perfectly acceptable and obvious that a few medical officials can legitimately exert control over the entire material world?
I reject this god-like, idolatry of the vaccine, especially the vaccine, which is likely what the COVID-19 vaccine is to be.
In this case – God help us all – I would resist this as with all other vaccine elevations, but even when threatened with death or the death of my loved ones, I would hope, by the grace of God, I could remain faithful to him.
But wait – there are more vaccine risks worth being aware of. The vaccine:
- may also track us, or may tether us to our devices (which certainly are used by Big Tech to track and profile us in fine detail)
- may permanently identify and name us
- may literally brand us, as a sign of ownership.
I’ll not go into these reasons here, but just know that there is more evidence that the vaccine is a bigger deal than it’s normally thought to be. But not taking it will not be acceptable; not taking it will have consequences that are strangely similar to the conditions described in Revelation.
He [the beast coming up out of the earth, commonly called ‘The False Prophet’] was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. — Revelation 13:15–18
All that said, we must not look at the vaccine as a kind of litmus test or as a go/no-go gauge that determines/reveals whether we have engaged in idolatry. Rather, the vaccine acts as the final nail in the coffin. But if we look at the vaccine as being the only point of resistance, by the time we reach the point of accepting or rejecting it, we will have already climbed into the coffin and gotten all comfy.
In other words, resistance to this medical idolatry should start way before the vaccine. It starts by the refusal to allow man – no matter how benevolent or benign he may seem – to define normal. Normal is ultimately defined by God in our walk with him. Resistance starts by learning and relearning to worship God and to love our neighbor well and follow our God, regardless of what man says.
Conclusion
We must stop watching this pandemic passively like it’s a movie. The expert officials tell you to stop listening to anyone else – they say only listen to official guidance, which means to only listen to them. This in itself should be chilling enough to wake us up and take responsibility and use wisdom and discernment. When someone is trying to get you to implicitly, blindly, without question, without discussion, listen only to them, they are casting spells and trying to get you to sleepwalk to the vaccine chamber.
So what preoccupies our thoughts, our time, our relationships? Is it love and engagement or is it fear and withdrawal? It’s becoming obvious that our medical and government officials are trying to use fear to control us:
- the fear of our own death
- the fear, guilt and shame of causing someone else to die (by means of a blind infection transmission chain)
Brothers and sisters, I implore you, do not fear tyranny; do not fear pain; do not fear death. Our Lord has overcome the world, the devil and death itself. He is risen!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:35–39
